In this session we will come together to discuss some of the current legislation in place surrounding climate action in BC and in our region. We will review a short report and discuss somethings that we were surprised by, things we are frustrated by, or commitments that we feel need to be improved upon. Throughout this conversation we will also be discussing some of the ways that climate change and actions surrounding us have taken a toll on our mental, emotional, and physical capacities to take action. We will close off the session with some ways to avoid climate action burnout and hopefully mitigate some of our anxieties surrounding climate change.
